Project Management

Great Horned Owl

Our professionals are skilled at managing interdisciplinary teams of scientists and resource specialists for the production of NEPA compliance documents and other reports required by federal, state, and local regulatory agencies.  We have successfully managed interdisciplinary teams to produce Environmental Impact Statements and Environmental Assessments for a diversity of project types, including land exchanges, energy resource developments, transmission lines, and highway projects in Colorado and elsewhere in the western United States.

We are also very experienced in managing complex permitting projects such as Individual Wetland Permit Applications (Section 404 Permits).  These projects often require the synthesis of technical information from teams of engineers, architects, surveyors, land planners, water resource specialists, and environmental scientists.  In addition, they require us to coordinate approvals from governmental regulatory agencies including the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service, and the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency; as well as state wildlife, health, and historical resource agencies.

In addition, we provide project management and oversight for native habitat restorations and wetland creations.  We obtain the necessary permits, then coordinate and manage teams of earthmovers, seeding contractors, nursery professionals, landscapers, and others to implement restoration plans.  We have provided oversight and management for more than 100 successful wetland creation and habitat restoration projects in Colorado and the western United States.
